It’s been almost two decades of intense rivalry and unparalleled competition between two of the top tennis professionals of this generation, but still, the heat between the two hasn’t decreased a bit.
Novak Djokovic has always been bashed for his frustrating actions on the pitch, which involved slamming racquets on the court and hitting them over on the tennis net.
Rafael Nadal has tried to take a dig at his rival for this reason in the past and recently yet another poke at the Serbian in a video that went viral on Twitter. Nadal was seen showcasing the things he likes to keep in his training kit bag as he showed his racquet.
After revealing the fact that he only had one racquet as he sent the others for string maintenance, he stated that one would be enough for him as he wasn’t planning on breaking any racquets.
This has led to a serious feud on social media yet again, with fans of both parties trying to put up their reasons to justify their idol. Nadal, on the other hand, has been slammed by Nole’s fans, with many claiming that the Spaniard deserves an award for never trying to break a racquet during a tennis match.
How Djokovic’s fans bashed Nadal for his recent comments:
Rafael Nadal has recently been speaking about Novak Djokovic a lot, be it for his Grand Slam tally or his racquet-breaking instances on the court. With Nadal out of action for over a year, his words are not doing any good for himself, as fans on Twitter are bashing and slamming him for his recent statements.
Some are calling him a loser, and that is filled with jealousy for Djokovic.
Sharing a wide spectrum of reactions online, here’s what fans have to say:
With all eyes on Nadal for his comeback in the Brisbane International at the start of next year, tensions are arising and pressure is surely building on the Spaniard as fans are growing tired of his words off the court.
They want him to do all his talking on the pitch while Nole’s fans are constantly targeting him for him as he keeps on losing all the records to the Serbian.
