Rafael Nadal after his Australian Open exit

Though Rafael Nadal has enough time to get fit before the French Open, he is likely to miss some of the events in the next couple of months. Nadal earlier confirmed his participation in the Dubai Tennis Championship to be held in February. But with the injury, Nadal will be out.

The next important tournament in line is Indian Wells but it will be up to Nadal if his body responds fast to before Roland Garros. As Nadal is inching closer to his 37th birthday it will be prudent for him to keep himself fit for the big tournaments. Fans too will be hoping for Nadal to clinch a couple of more Majors before he signs off.

Though Nadal himself has shown no signs of bidding goodbye to tennis in the coming months he accepted that he is not getting younger either. “I like what I do. I like playing tennis, I know it’s not forever, I like to feel competitive,” Nadal said earlier.  The rest of the 2023 season will definitely be a glimpse of the things to come for him.
