One of the most exciting speculations among the tennis community was that of the return of the Spanish maestro Rafael Nadal. However, fans were upset after the recent update on Nadal from his team.

Craig Tiley, the CEO of the Australian Open had previously confirmed that Nadal might return to professional tennis from the Australian Open. Unfortunately, doubts have taken a seat in the hearts of fans as Nadal’s team has not yet confirmed his return and there is a lot of uncertainty revolving around the return of the Spaniard. “We have seen the reports and comments but as of today, we wouldn’t be able to confirm. Definitely, we don’t know yet. Too early to say. We have definitely not released any date cause we simply don’t know it. Rafa is just starting to practice,” posted Stuart Fraser on X.

Rafael Nadal has been out of tennis for the past year due to recurring injuries, however, with recent updates from the player, fans believe that the Spaniard will return to playing at the 2024 Australian Open. “We can reveal exclusively here that Rafa will be back. He’s been off for most of the year and in talking to him over the last few days he confirmed he will be back, which we’re really excited about, the champion of 2022. That’s awesome,” confirmed the CEO of the Australian Open Craig Tiley.

Craig also confirmed the possibility of the return of Australian Star Nick Kyrgios who has also been out of the game for some time due to an injury.
