Canadian rapper Drake and Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian
Former American tennis legend Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian has faced backlash at times due to his wife’s past relationships. This time, the famous Canadian rapper Drake took a jibe mentioning him in his latest album ‘Her Loss’. It looks like Drake, who happens to be the ex-boyfriend of the 23-time Grand Slam champion isn’t over the relationship.
The singer-rapper-writer and the former legend had been close friends and even were in a rumored relationship in 2011. Though the couple did not comment or confirm anything related to their relationship status, he has been spotted a few times at Serena’s player box to support her. The 4-time Grammy Awards winner included Serena’s name in a song titled ‘Worst Behavior’ from the album ‘Nothing was the Same’ in 2013. He had even mentioned her name while hosting the Nike Maxim Awards.
The 29-time Billboard Music Awards winner took a sarcastic jibe at Serena Williams’ husband in one of the 16 songs present in the recently launched album in collaboration with 21 Savage. In the song titled ‘Middle of the Ocean’, Drake mentioned Alexis as ‘a groupie’ and argues to have no problem with him. But he went on to claim that he might pop up on his rumored ex-girlfriend’s husband.
The lyrics of the song by Drake go on as “Sidebar, Serena, your husband a groupie, He claim we don’t got a problem but No, boo, it is like you comin’ for sushi, We might pop up on them at will like Suzuki, Kawasaki, sushi, saki…“
