As much as he was a force on the court, Roger Federer is an absolute superstar for his fans off the court as well. His aura and swagger make everyone attracted to him. Post-retirement he often plays around with his fans and makes fun of himself too.
He is at it again as one of his tweet replies is doing the rounds on the internet. Recently the Royal account of the Prince and Princess of Wales put a tweet out wherein one could see a grass court. The caption of the tweet read, “Anyone for tennis?” The Swiss maestro was quick to reply.
Federer straight away replied wherein he said, “Count me in” and this has got his fans thinking. Federer who announced his retirement in September last year at the Laver Cup has not been seen playing any sort of exhibition match or any other charity match post that. His die-hard fans would love to see the superstar back in action for one last time.
After playing at the pro level for almost 24 years, the Swiss ace who struggled to recover from a horrible knee injury had decided that the Laver Cup was going to be his last event. Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Andy Murray, three of Federer’s greatest rivals had come for the event and had made it special for him. Fans and the entire tennis community would hope that Federer is not just joking but is serious about his tweet and plays some sort of charity game at the upcoming Wimbledon.

Ranking points are back and the Russian and Belarusian players will be allowed to compete once again after they were left out last year. This will make the event more competitive as all eyes will be on the top seeds to go deep in London.
