Roger Federer recently shared a video of him playing tennis on an outdoor court. The Swiss legend, who retired at the 2022 Laver Cup, provided fans a snippet of what they have missed on the court.

The 42-year-old tennis icon and sport legend became the first men’s player to win 20 singles Grand Slam titles and 6 Nitto ATP Finals crowns. Despite the likes of Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic surpassing his tally with 22 and 24 major titles, respectively, Federer is still regarded as one of the greatest players to ever grace the tennis court.

The first part of the documentary chronicles Federer’s life and career, while the second is about the 2022 Laver Cup. Federer gave access to both home and hotel rooms during the tournament to filmmaker Joe Sabia.

It’s a snapshot of my life over those 12 days, which is pretty hardcore and interesting. It’s looking deep into another layer of the tennis tour–how the camaraderie is a good one on the tour, Yes, here are rivalries, but off the court, there are friendships and respect.
Federer said

The documentary will feature interviews with World No.1 Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, and Andy Murray, as well as his wife Mirka Federer. However, there is no stipulated day for the release of the film. But Bloomberg said that the company is aiming to release the project in July, the same period the Wimbledon championship kicks off.
