The Roger Federer Foundation started way back in 2003, when Federer was just 22, to focus on providing the perfect, proper education to the unprivileged children in South Africa.
Now, after almost 20 years of hard work, the foundation has claimed to support the children of around five more African countries: Zambia, Malawi, Namibia, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, and Switzerland.

What is the basic aim of the Roger Federer Foundation?
Roger Federer is the kind of person who believes in standing up for the people around him and, most importantly, dreams of making this world a better place to live in.
He also always talked in the past about believing in the power of people and stated quite often through his statements about the importance of good education in the lives of children.
Federer further opened up about shaping the future of children and committing to enabling parents and local communities to provide these very kids with the utmost opportunity for a good education.
At last, Roger Federer expressed his immense joy in helping these children achieve their dreams and what they have done with the little support he, along with his foundation, has provided them with.
