Roger Federer, the Swiss great, was one of the most influential people on the court. Spreading his joy on the court, he won over millions of fans. Upon retirement, the 42-year-old reveals the quaint joys of parenting and how he turns into a motivational speaker at home. 

Transitioning from a tennis player to a businessman, Federer has also become a motivational speaker for his children. Federer, who got through millions of fans, has however admitted that he struggles to get his point across to his children. 

I feel like a motivational speaker at home. Sometimes I close and think, Wow, that was a really good speech, Roger! And five minutes later, nothing I said was done.

Like typical children, even the kids of Federer do not listen to their father and continue to do their own work. The 20-time Grand Slam champion has worries of a normal father as he tries to get through to his kids but usually fails too. With the age of the internet, his kids also tend to be by themselves most of the time, but Federer is trying his best to get through to his kids which does not work at all.

Roger Federer, the father of four, is usually busy parenting his children. As a former tennis player and an improving businessman, the Swiss star also faces the problem that comes with being a father.

People may assume that Federer would have millions of tennis stories to tell his kids, but that’s not always the case. As a person who doesn’t like to always talk about his career, Federer has to oblige to his children’s wishes. If they want to listen, he shares some tennis stories and a lot of traveling stories.

When it comes to tennis, Federer has not been seen a lot ever since his retirement. Other than the yearly Laver’s Cup or the Shanghai Open, the Swiss player is not seen that much near tennis courts. But, behind the scenes, Federer is constantly there for the sport and is making efforts to give back to the sport that has helped him for many years. Now enjoying his retirement, the 20-time Grand Slam champion helps out the sport in any way that he can.
