Novak Djokovic, the 21-time singles Grand Slam champion’s participation chances at the major tournaments has always been the talk of the town since his deportation in Australia over his unvaccinated status and his further stance of not taking the vaccination anytime.
Ronnie O’Sullivan, the professional snooker player and also the world number one was asked about his top three favorite sportspersons of all time during an interview to which he extended his top three to the list of top five players irrespective of the sports they play.
O’Sullivan chooses Formula 1 legend Aryton Senna as the first name followed by the boxing legend Muhammad Ali. He paused for a bit and choose Novak Djokovic, the 2022 Wimbledon champion followed by Roger Federer and Tiger Woods as the third, fourth, and fifth favorites. He said, “My top three would be Aryton Senna, Muhammad Ali, and probably Djokovic, Federer, and Tiger Woods. They would be the top ones. I like winners. I don’t have much time for people that don’t win. I won’t say losers but I do love a winner.“

Novak Djokovic has won the Australian Open for a record nine times. His deportation from Australia landed him in a lot of trouble and as per once deported, his visa becomes invalid for three years as per the rules of the Australian government. The official poster from the Australian Open does not feature the nine-time champion Djokovic which hinted at his chances to play at the upcoming major event still uncertain.
The official poster was a series of five posters starting with Iga Swiatek, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Coco Gauff in the first slide, the second slide featured the defending doubles champion Nick Kyrgios with his compatriot Thanasi Kokkinakis in their unique celebration pose, the third poster had the upcoming generation of tennis and the fourth slide dedicated to the 22-time Grand Slam champion and also the men’s defending champion Rafael Nadal.
He has already missed participating in two Grand Slam tournaments in 2022 with uncertainty still prevailing about his chances of playing at the 2023 Australian Open.
