2023 has been a memorable year for the American tennis prodigy, Coco Gauff. She won her maiden Grand Slam this year, defeating Aryna Sabalenka in the finals of the US Open.
Gauff most recently made her appearance at the WTA Finals in Cancun, Mexico. The American teenager lost to Jessica Pegula in the semi-finals of the tournament.
Mentioning what a significant year this has been for her, the 2023 US Open champion stated:
