Spanish youngster Carlos Alcaraz whom Novak Djokovic replaces as the World No. 1 congratulates Novak Djokovic for his 10th Australian Open title.

Serbian tennis icon Novak Djokovic acquired legendary status after the 2023 Australian Open win. He defeated Greek player Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final at Rod Laver Arena which lasted just over three hours. Djokovic has been at the top of the world after the history-setting win.
With the title win, Novak Djokovic created several records in the fortnight Down Under. The 35-year-old reclaimed the top spot of the rankings where he always belonged. Djokovic remains unbeaten in Australia for the last 40 matches. Also, Novak Djokovic is the only man to have won 4 Australian Open titles since celebrating his 30th birthday.
After Novak Djokovic’s victory, Carlos Alcaraz who was replaced by the Serb in the latest rankings congratulated him for the greatest achievement. He took to social media to send a special message to Djokovic.
“Congratulations @djokernole for the Australian Open and the world number 1! Very well deserved! Hope to see you soon on the court!” he wrote with a couple of emojis.

Djokovic’s tenth Australian Open title and 22nd Grand Slam is not a mean feat. He is leveled with his Spanish rival Rafael Nadal and ahead of now-retired Swiss maestro Roger Federer. The race of the greatest has been now set between Nadal and Djokovic.
After his win, both of his rivals congratulated Djokovic for the tremendous achievement. “Amazing achievement Nole. Many congrats to you and your team! Well deserved. Enjoy Nole!”, said Rafael Nadal. Federer too posted an Instagram post congratulating the Serb.
Djokovic is at the top of the world after his historic achievement. In the latest ATP ranking, he is back at the top where he has already spent a record total of 374 weeks. As the season progresses he will look to add a couple more titles to his name.
