Serena Williams already finding parenting two kids difficult as she pays ‘mad respect’ to other parents

Second-time mom Serena Williams took to express her frustration on social on the challenges parents encounter while parenting two children. The American icon shared her candid feelings, on the demanding nature of parenthood.
In her tweet, Serena candidly tweeted, “Having 2 kids is def not easy. How do your moms/dads do it so well!!!??? Especially when one gets sick? Mad respect.” The tweet gives an insight into the complexities parents face when they have to look after more than one kid.
Serena recently gave birth to her second daughter, Adira River on August 22nd, this year. She already has a daughter, Olympia who turned 6 years this September. Although Serena has been very discreet with Adira and her identity, Olympia is quite well-known. She has often accompanied her mother on WTA Tours and has also been captured practicing alongside the former World Number 1.
Serena Williams’ sincerity and determination continue to inspire millions as a global advocate for parenthood and women’s empowerment. Her tweet emphasizes the idea that even the most accomplished people endure hardships on the path to parenthood.
Serena Williams abstains from birthday celebrations
Serena made news three years ago for her decision to not celebrate their daughter Alexis Olympia’s first birthday. She addressed this decision directly during a press conference, saying, “Olympia doesn’t celebrate birthdays,” revealing light on her family’s firmly held religious values.
As Serena explained, Jehovah’s Witnesses, a Christian denomination, have their own set of beliefs and practices, which includes not celebrating birthdays. She clarified, “We don’t do it because we are Jehovah’s Witnesses.” Serena’s unshakeable dedication to her faith was confirmed in her forthright statement.
Birthday celebrations are only one aspect of Jehovah’s Witnesses’ religious practices. In accordance with the precepts of their faith, they also choose not to observe other widely recognized worldwide holidays, such as Christmas and Easter.
