American socialite, Kim Kardashian posted pictures of her latest photoshoot with Chanel on her Instagram account. The 42-year-old boasts a massive fanbase and has amassed over 364 million followers on the social media app. Kim can be seen holding a tennis racket on a hard court in some of the shots. Legendary tennis player, Serena Williams had some interesting things to say about the pictures.

Kim Kardashian is the founder of the garment company, SKIMS. She recently partnered with the luxury brand, Chanel and can be seen wearing a pink bikini from the brand which features their trademark interlocking Cs logo. The socialite fully embraces a pink Barbie-inspired theme. She completes her look with a pink cover-up, a pink Chanel bag, rose-tinted shades, and layered cross-necklaces. In some pictures though, the American poses with a tennis racket in hand.

Serena Williams, who has been one of Kim’s close friends over the years, pointed out some things in the comment section that bothered her about the pictures. “Literally not how you hold a racquet. I have to give you lessons, lol,” the 23-time Grand Slam singles champion wrote, adding two heart-eye emojis at the end. Kardashian and Williams have known each other for over two decades now.

Kim also attended the wedding of Serena Williams and her husband, Alexis Ohanian‘s wedding back in 2017. The tight-knit friendship between two of the biggest women in their respective industries leads many critics to speculate if their bond is merely a publicity stunt. Serena Williams and Kim Kardashian have known each other well before the socialite shot to global stardom. Over two decades ago, Kardashian worked as a closet organizer for celebrities, one of whom was Serena Williams.

Kim used to manage the wardrobes in Serena Williams’ residence. The two got along very well as they laid the cornerstone for a beautiful friendship. Although, the two have established themselves as successful businesswomen, they sometimes catch up with each other, much to their fans’ delight.

“I’ve known Serena for so long and am so happy she’s found her prince. From the moment she told me she met Alexis in Rome, it was like… she’s been so happy and has this light about her that is so special to see. You just know it is so real. He makes her so happy, which just makes her friends happy,” Kardashian once revealed while in a conversation with Vogue magazine.
