American tennis legend Serena Williams recently united with as many as 39 megastars as British Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief Edward Enninful shot for his final issue at the helm of the storied fashion magazine. Oprah Winfrey, Dua Lipa, Gigi Hadid, Kate Moss, Miley Cyrus, and other stars came together for this historic photo shoot.

Not only did these stars make a historic event possible but they also shared their favorites of Enninful’s covers in a video from the shoot posted to the magazine’s Instagram. Enninful also gave his explanation as to why he chose only women for his final issue.

Notably, the March 2024 issue is Enninful’s 76th after nearly seven years at the helm. He has worked with many stars in these seven years and took this final issue as an opportunity to bring the 40 most powerful women on the same stage. The March 2024 issue of British Vogue goes on sale on February 13.

Serena Williams talks about the positive changes

Like others, Serena Williams also shared her views on how things have changed. Williams said that she can feel the change. The former American tennis ace said that while she rarely saw people from her race when she started playing, people are excited to see a new face now.

I have definitely felt the positive in how my particular industry views me in terms of race. When I started playing tennis, it was no one that looked like me outside of my sister. Everyone is so excited now to see a new face and to see someone that is different and embracing that and I think that change has been so amazing to watch.
