Films based on sporting events or just simply on sports are the real deal in modern cinema. May it be Hollywood or Bollywood, the audience loves to get inspired from such films that show the value of hard work and dedication to reach their destination. Popular actress Zendaya has come up with one such film that has tennis as its main theme and serves the audience well.
The movie is named Challengers and has sport and romance linked closely. It shows Zendaya as a sensational young ace. The trailer shows us that she gets unfortunately injured and then becomes the perfect tennis wife going forward. The film tries to show different angles of the sport and links it with the personal lives of the players. It also shows a love triangle that engulfs the sport.
Zendaya, a massive Serena Williams fan was seen in Williams’ matches last year at the US Open. The actress certainly must have watched Serena and other greats closely to learn more about the sport. She must have worked hard on the techniques of the sport and worked hard on her fitness to look in perfect shape for her cinematic performance.
Fans were really excited listening to the news that Zendaya is working on a film like this. However, the first impression has not been that promising after the audience saw the trailer.

Reactions to trailers are a common thing. Opinions float all over as soon as film trailers are released. Similarly, Challengers’ trailer has got its share of reactions. However, to the disappointment of the filmmakers’, fans do not look that happy with the film. The audience has pointed out several errors here and there. A few have also tried to link it to some real story. A few feel it is inspired by the life of a real tennis celebrity.

The filmmakers would hope that the fans love the film. Often the trailer gets a different reaction as compared to the movie. A two-minute video may not be able to depict the two-hour movie aptly. Fans would also want that their favorite Zendaya eventually makes them smile with a good script and an even better performance.
