Richard Williams, who trained his daughters Serena and Venus to become superstars, had a comprehensive interview with The U.S. Sun alongside his son Chavoita LeSane. It was revealed in the interview that Richard was offered to participate in multiple TV shows post his divorce. One of these television shows includes a massive reality show that offered him $500k.
According to Chavoita, following their conversation last month, their phones have been ringing non-stop as they promote Richard’s latest documentary “On The Line”. This new film serves as a follow-up to the Oscar-winning movie “King Richard”, which portrayed the story of Serena and Venus through the perspective of their father, with the 81-year-old character played by Will Smith.
Chavoita further revealed by saying “My dad and I have been getting calls from multiple TV and radio stations since speaking out for the first time in years. It’s an exciting time with the documentary also coming out. We’ve even been approached by a British TV network for a reality show focused on the work I do in producing films and partnering with charities, and my dad’s life after tennis.”
Speaking about the offers his dad is receiving he said, “The budget is allegedly around $500,000, and there may be other offers from elsewhere so we’re chatting through our options, but it’s an exciting proposal. My dad is a real character and would certainly make good TV. He seems interested in the idea, and I have a lot of different businesses, there’s always something going on.”

Rick Macci, the former coach of Serena, Venus, and Capriati believes that Capriati’s portrayal in the popular movie “King Richard” was incomplete. The movie is an inspirational story about the Williams sisters and their father Richard Williams. It also highlights Macci’s role in coaching the sisters to the pinnacle of professional tennis.
Jennifer Capriati had a remarkable start to her professional tennis career, becoming the youngest Top-10 player at 14 years old and winning the 1992 Olympic gold medal. After a few seasons of success, she faced a decline in form and confidence. However, she made a strong comeback in 2001, reaching the world’s No. 1 ranking and winning three Grand Slam titles.
