American tennis legend Serena Williams has retired from tennis but that does not mean she is short of action. The 42-year-old keeps working on different projects.

While Serena’s business ventures are well-known, the former tennis ace has picked a different project this time around. Serena Williams has partnered with Netflix for their renowned project Avatar: The Last Airbender.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion flexed her Avatar state in the new promo launched by the OTT giant. The video starts with Serena taking a big leap with her forehand and eyes all blue. She smashes the tennis ball which then hits the water container kept on the side.

Serena then explains it to a girl saying that was her Avatar state. The video was released by Netflix on Monday and fans are already loving it. Check it out below.

It is worth mentioning that Serena Williams has been associated with this series for a long time. The tennis ace made a guest appearance in one of the episodes of the original series.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is an adaptation of the award-winning and beloved Nickelodeon animated series of the same name. It takes place in a world that is divided into four nations: the Water Tribes, the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation, and the Air Nomads.

“Benders” are people who have the ability to telekinetically manipulate and control the elements corresponding to their nation, using gestures based on Chinese martial arts. The “Avatar” is the only individual with the ability to bend all four elements.

This is the third season of the popular series. Gordon Cormier (Aang), Kiawentiio (Katara), Ian Ousley (Sokka), and Dallas Liu (Prince Zuko) lead the cast of the series which premieres February 22 on Netflix.

Albert Kim (Sleepy Hollow, Nikita) serves as showrunner, executive producer, and writer. Alongside Kim, Rideback’s Dan Lin (The Lego Movie, Aladdin) Lindsey Liberatore (Walker), and Jabbar Raisani serve as executive producers as well as Michael Goi (Swamp Thing, American Horror Story). Goi, Roseanne Liang (also a co-executive producer), Raisani, and Jet Wilkinson are the directors.
