On October 24th, 2022, popular tennis professional player Caroline Wozniacki took to her official Twitter handle to surprise her fans by announcing the birth of her second child. As expected, as soon as the news was made public, several fans, followers, and prominent tennis players were seen in the reply section, showering her with wholesome and congratulatory messages. Serena Williams, the former American legend, showered her love and blessings on the newborn as Wozniacki shared the news.
Williams and Wozniacki have been extremely close to each other off the court besides their on-court rivalry. It was seen when the 23-time Grand Slam champion had also been one of the bridesmaids when the Danish player got married to former NBA Basketball player David Lee back in 2019 after being in a relationship for a few years. They both have even stood with each other during difficult times.
The 7-time Wimbledon champion shared a sweet message reacting to Wozniacki’s post where she congratulated the second-time parents. She shared a story on her Instagram account with the message, “I’m in love already. Congrats Caroline Wozniacki and David Lee,“

After Rafael Nadal, Daniil Medvedev, and Gael Monfils, Caroline Wozniacki joined the list of tennis players who embraced parenthood in the month of October. The onetime Grand Slam champion had shared a warm picture with her one-year-old daughter Olivia sitting beside the newborn baby boy. The elder child posed a surprised expression in the picture where the retired 2020 player revealed the name of the newborn baby boy as James Wozniacki Lee.
As soon as the Danish player announced the good news, wishes and congratulatory messages poured in from people across the world. Madison Keys, Holger Rune, Naomi Broady, and Donna Vekic are some of the few names who send in their best wishes to the couple as they are about to start a brand new chapter of their life.
The former World No 1 had revealed about embracing motherhood for the second time in the month of June, with an Instagram post. She had shared a picture with her husband David and daughter with an image of the ultrasound image of her expected child.
