Stan Wawrinka compares Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic over grass court expertise ahead of his Wimbledon clash with Nole
Stan is not surprised with the amount of titles Novak Djokovic has accumulated.

Stan Wawrinka supposedly admitted defeat before the match and said he has no chance of winning against Novak Djokovic at the press conference after his second-round win at Wimbledon. The reporter then asked him if he was surprised about how many titles Novak has got no grass here in London.
Stan admitted that he is not surprised that Novak has that many titles on grass and that he is an amazing player to play against in Slams and calls him perfect. He also said he loved watching Roger Federer play, and he enjoys watching Novak play just as much.
Stan, who is from Switzerland, has three Grand Slam titles to his name. In 2014, he was ranked No. 3 in the world for the first time in his career. He turned pro at the young age of 17 in 2002. He has 16 ATP titles in total.

Stan speaks about how he thinks Novak is perfect
The reporter said Roger kind of regarded as the ‘king of Wimbledon’ with eight titles here in London and how Novak could potentially match him if he wins this year. To that Stan replied with a smile, saying, ‘’No, have you seen him play’’ According to him, Novak has no weakness and is so clean and perfect with the way he plays. He continued praising him, saying that the way Novak is playing right now is so amazing. The Serb’s serves and returns are amazing. The Swiss is not surprised at all with the titles ‘Joker’ has won here on the grass.
Stan said he loved to watch Roger play at Wimbledon and loves watching Novak play just as much. “I think he’s been an amazing player to play. He’s the perfect player. I love to watch him play, as much as I was loving to watch Roger play,” said Stan.
Stan and Roger share a close friendship of many years, although there was a small feud between them that didn’t seem to affect their friendship that much. The 38-year-old even said that Roger was like his brother and a friend. The Swiss duo were also together in the Davis Cup and won it together. Roger retired from professional tennis last year.
