The hottest news in the tennis world, apart from the fact that Novak Djokovic has won his 23rd Grand Slams, is the newly announced relationship between Greek ace Stefanos Tsitsipas and Spaniard Paula Badosa.
Both players recently rolled out multiple adorable photographs and videos together, garnering a wide spectrum of reactions online. The couple seems to be in a great zone and is spreading nothing but positivity through their love. There is no denying the fact that the brewing chemistry between the two has been making the rounds on the internet lately.
Finally, after a relatively long wait and a series of wild rumors, Tsitsipas opened up about his relationship in an interview with BILD.
While making their romantic relationship public, he said, “Paula is not only my partner, she is my soul mate. It is very difficult to find your soul mate, if you ask Paula she will tell you the same thing. I have met many women in my life, and I have never felt so attracted and I have found as much beauty as in her. Our minds are in tune, it’s a spiritual connection. We have good vibes together, it’s a beautiful experience. I don’t think there are many people who can experience that spiritual connection with someone. It’s what you spend your life looking for, and sometimes it’s right in front of you. We’re very honest and open when we’re together, I’d love for people to be inspired by what we put out.”
The Greek ace is clearly in awe of his partner and feels extremely lucky to have her. He would love to bring that positive energy to the court as he competes at the BOSS Open in Stuttgart this week.

Tsitsipas anticipates an American Challenge at Stuttgart
After a rather embarrassing quarter-final loss to world no. 1 Carlos Alcaraz at the French Open, Tsitsipas will be back in action in Stuttgart. A blossoming relationship and change on the surface may see a renewed energy Greek. In his interview with BILD, when asked about the challenge he anticipates at the Stuttgart Open, he had this to say. “
The Americans, I would say. Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe, these guys can play very well on grass. But let’s not forget my first match against Richard Gasquet. I’m playing against someone who has a lot more experience on grass than I do. I hope to play a good match against him. In 2018 we had our two games against each other so far. On grass he won 7:6, 7:6, on hard court I 6:3, 6:4. But I’m a different player today than I was five years ago.”
The Greek is a vary of the American challenge as well as his first-round opponent, Richard Gasquet. It won’t be an easy week; however, if he can get a few wins under his belt, it’ll be great for his Wimbledon campaign.
