Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa were spotted motorcycle riding in New York following the Greek’s knock-out off the US Open. The couple resorted to the ‘Tsitsidosa’ Instagram to post stories of their day out. The Greek has been receiving negative comments online following his crash out of the US Open, saying he is more invested in their relationship than he is in tennis.
When Tsitsipas lost to Swiss Dominic Stricker in a five-set thriller, tennis audiences were completely outraged. Following his loss to the young gun, Tsitsipas was trolled for spending more time on ‘Tsitsidosa’ than on his game.
The duo, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa posted Instagram stories with pictures of their getaway. They were also accompanied by the Greek’s brother, Petros Tsitsipas. On their day out, they also made a visit to the hospital where Badosa was born. The pictures shows Badosa taking control of the handle bar, with Stefanos on the back seat.
However, the World No.7 is still not done with at the US Open. Even though his Singles campaign came to a tragic end, he still holds on to hope. He is also participating the the Doubles matches, partnering up with his brother and doubles partner, Petros Tsitsipas.
Paula Badosa, on the other hand, does not have such luck. The Spaniard had to withdraw from the US Open on account of a back injury from which she simply could not recover. She had to bring to a halt, her entire 2023 season in order to facilitate a smooth recovery. She was due to play Venus Williams in the opening round but that could not happen.

The Tsitsipas brothers move on to the second round after a victorious first
The Greek brothers, Stefanos and Petros Tsitsipas emerge triumphant in the opening round of the US Open, moving on to the second round. They will be facing Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek in the second round.
The brothers beat Miguel Angel Reyes-Varela and David Vega Hernandez in the first round with a clean score of 7-6, 6-4. While the Greek pair have not seen much success in the Doubles side of tennis, this is not the case with their upcoming opponent. Veteran Ivan Dodig has seen it all, from Olympic medals and Grand Slam titles to Masters 1000 titles.
Austin Krajicek on the other hand has achieved the highest rank of World No.1 in doubles tennis. He has also got a couple of Grand Slam titles under his belt. Both teams will hope to play their best tennis and emerge successful in the upcoming game.
