ABOUT STEPATHLON

Stepathlon
Stepathlon

Stepathlon is a unique health and wellness platform and program that uses a ‘Sports Marketing approach to Wellness’ focusing on activation and engagement, both indoor and outdoor, across three key pillars of wellbeing – Movement, Nutrition and Mental Health.

Stepathlon creates a platform that motivates participants to race through ‘Virtual World’ where real life steps and movement (Walking, Running, Yoga, Dance, Swimming, Cycling, Sports and other activities) are combined with gamification (Virtual Race Course), healthy competition and active engagement (Contests, Challenges and Events).

The multi-day ‘Virtual Race’ connects users to the brands for an extended timeframe that goes beyond the ‘peak engagement period’ solidifying the relationship between the user, brand and fan community.

It also provides a unique opportunity and environment in which to collect relevant First-Party Data to help businesses and stakeholders to better understand their audience/community and enabling them to bring positive and lasting changes to the fitness habits of their fans and to drive commercial outcomes for all stakeholders.

Stepathlon was established in 2012 as a wellness solution for corporate clients. Its original mission was to engage employees of corporates, members of communities, institutions etc. via a platform that effectively blends wellness, mass/ social participation and ‘active’ engagement.

Moving into B2C via Fan and Community Engagement gives Stepathlon the potential for exponential scale and impact. Stepathlon’s ‘reward the many not the few’ philosophy will give participants multiple chances to win a wide range of unique money-can’t-buy and once-in-a-lifetime priceless experiences.

These will include: sitting courtside with players, signed merchandise, backstage concert passes, all-expenses-paid trips to Dubai to see the world’s greatest tennis stars & DJs, meet & greets, VIP tickets and many more.

“Every new event or tournament has an opportunity to inspire existing and new fans of the sport.  We have created a product that aims to bring in new audiences and build joy for existing fans. We truly believe tennis-focused entertainment can appeal to everyone. This is why we have teamed up with Stepathlon and their fan engagement platform.

“It is for everyone – and Stepathlon will help us bring the human story of the players to life, helping connect with fans well beyond the court.  Not only that, we can get them moving and active, whilst also providing data and communication opportunities for our partners at the same time.” said WTL CEO, Scott Davidoff

“To be able to work with WTL as our first tennis client is an honour especially given the caliber of the field and the quality of the music line up.  We firmly believe that popular culture is the vehicle to positively impact both people and planet. Road to WTL powered by Stepathlon will inspire, entertain, and motivate all fans to be healthier and happier.

“Further, helping WTL build their fan base whilst aligning their commercial plans is a great opportunity for Stepathlon to continue to show the world of sport and entertainment how we can work as a strategic partner for any organisation with a fan base, by sourcing ‘real’ first party data, developing flexible digital assets for brands and partners and, crucially, aligning with values such as health (their core focus) – both physical and mental – and the importance of community” said Executive Chairman and Founder of Stepathlon, Ravi Krishnan.
