The Japanese champion, Naomi Osaka, made the news when she recently tweeted “I miss Kobe” for the late NBA legend Kobe Bryant with a pouring heartfelt emotion got witnessed getting mocked and back-lashed when tennis Twitter made a mockery of her downfall in the tennis circuit by mischievously replacing her quotes with a backlashing quote “stop using someones name for likes.”
Making history by being the first Japanese to win a Grand Slam namely the US Open back in 2018, she is now seen opening up about her past relationship with Kobe, notably about how the fallen legend mentored the 24-year-old before his death and how in order to ‘protect her mental health’ the tennis star has declined to speak to the press on several occasions.

The American professional basketball player and fallen NBA legend, Kobe Bryant, who is also known for spending his entire 20 year career with the Los Angeles Lakers would also text positive things to Naomi and tell her to learn from it. Kobe passed away in January of 2020 with his daughter Gianna in an unfortunate helicopter crash leaving the entire world’s sports community in shock.
Naomi Osaka who recently recovered from an Achilles injury and a shocking recent split with coach Wim Fissette has entered in the upcoming US Open with a wildcard entry. Being an activist by having shown a tremendous amount of support for Black Lives Matter has significantly earned her a strong fan base across the globe and is regarded as one of the fastest women servers on the tennis tour.
