Men’s Singles Draw Preview
Top Half
US Open champion Carlos Alcaraz will headline the top half of the draw and will look to get back on winning terms once again. He will face Jack Draper in the opening round and will then face either Adrian Mannarino or Botic Van de Zandschulp in the Round of 16. 5th seed Pablo Carreno Busta will open his campaign against Sebastian Baez in the first round and will next face Maxime Cressy or Dominic Stricker in the second round. Alcaraz and Carreno Busta are expected to meet in the last 8.
In form, Felix Auger-Aliassime will open against wild card Marc-Andrea Huesler and will go on to face the winner of the match between Miomir Kecmanovic and Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. He is drawn against 8th seed Lorenzo Musetti who will play Albert Ramos-Vinolas in the first round. Meanwhile, Aslan Karatsev will face Alexander Bublik in the opening round.
First Semifinal Prediction: Carlos Alcaraz vs Felix Auger-Aliassime
Bottom Half
Second seed Casper Ruud will headline the bottom half of the draw and will face 3-time grand slam champion Stan Wawrinka in the first round. He will go on to face David Goffin or Brandon Nakashima in the Round of 16. He is drawn opposite 6th seed Roberto Bautista Agut who opens against Laslo Djere. He will next face the winner of the match between Andy Murray and qualifier Roman Safiullin.
In the third quarter, 4th seed Marin Cilic will face qualifier Arthur Rinderknech in the opening round and will then face either Alex Molcan or Mackenzie McDonald in the second round. 7th seed Alex De Minaur will open his campaign against Stockholm Open champion Holger Rune in the opening round and will take on the winner of the match between Jenson Brooksby and Ugo Humbert. Cilic is expected to meet either Rune or De Minaur in the last 8.

Semifinals
Two of the best young talents on the tour, Carlos Alcaraz and Felix Auger-Aliassime will battle in the first semifinal. Alcaraz has been the best player this season whereas Felix is coming off two consecutive title wins.
In the second semifinals, two veterans Andy Murray and Marin Cilic will collide. Murray has been improving with each passing week while Cilic too has produced some very good results throughout the season.

Final
Third seed Felix Auger-Aliassime will face three-time grand slam champion Andy Murray in the final of the 2022 Swiss Indoors. Felix has been in hot form for the last few weeks and will fancy his chances of winning another title. Murray, on the other hand, will be looking to win his biggest title in the last few years. Having said that, expect a good battle with Felix winning a third consecutive title of the season.
