Taylor Fritz spilled the beans on his relationship with influencer girlfriend Morgan Riddle in an exclusive interview with People Magazine. The American might play singles tennis, but he emphasised how the couple works great as a team.

He stated how the two have “very common goals” designated for their personal as well as professional lives. He gushed, “It’s great that we can kind of work together.

The 25-year-old star and Tiktok influencer have been dating since 2020, and Riddle is often seen travelling to support her boyfriend at various games.

Fritz is grateful for her presence and stated that it’s great to have someone who can support you and your goals. He was glad that their career goals align very well and that they are both trying to “make tennis cool again“. It is also great to have goals that complement each other, as Riddle can work while travelling.

Speaking about how they spend their quality time together, Fritz said that the couple bonds over their mutual love for binge-watching television series. They were recently very invested in the British show Peaky Blinders.

The fifth seed also talked about the pair appearing on Netflix’s Break Point, a series documenting the lives of the top players on tour. The series showcased Fritz’s face-off with tennis legend Rafael Nadal and his subsequent victory against him at Indian Wells. We also got an insight into Fritz’s personal life with his girlfriend. Speaking about the show, the American player said, “It just shows me that someone who probably didn’t know anything about tennis might now be converted into a tennis fan.”

World No.9 Taylor Fritz is off to a great start in the U.S. Open season as he beats compatriot Steve Johnson in straight sets. After a shocking exit last year in the first round, the American player has made sure that he doesn’t repeat his mistakes. The 25-year-old made only 10 unforced errors and shot 34 winners during the course of the match.

He won the match with a scoreline of 6-2, 6-1, 6-2 in a run time of an hour and 20 minutes. He set an astonishing record by winning all 23 first-serve points. He has moved onto the second round, where he will face Argentine Juan Pablo Varillas.
