Sean Strickland is hands down one of the most controversial personalities in the UFC right now. His stance against the LGBTQ community and straightforwardness regarding topics that usually celebrities try to ignore is what make him a hated individual among the ‘woke community’ and a beloved idol for the ‘red pill community’. Strickland has become such a popular anti-LGBTQ face that people are now afraid to even like his controversial tweets lest they be canceled.
What happened with American tennis player Taylor Fritz today sums up exactly that fear. A fan on X recently made a keen observation that caused a stir in the tennis community. He pointed out that Taylor Fritz had recently liked a supportive reply to Sean Strickland’s recent tweet where he expressed his disgust at the fact that ‘gays get an entire fuc*ing month’ (referring to the pride month).
As soon as the tweet went viral, Fritz went into full damage control mode and penned down a note on X where he clarified that he had liked the tweet by mistake. He said that he was going through Sean Strickland’s profile because of all the news that was coming out during the time he was in Vegas and he might have liked the tweet unintentionally at that time. He reiterated that he does not stand for anything written in the tweet.
Holy sh*t I just got sent this and had a heart attack…. I DEFINITELY didn’t purposefully like this, I was looking at Stricklands profile a couple days ago cause of all the news he was in while in Vegas. I had to of accidentally liked that while scrolling the replies but wow just want to make it clear for anyone that doesn’t know me i absolutely don’t stand for any of this and if u we’re to look at my likes it’s either all gaming/tennis things I would NEVER do that on purpose.Fritz via X

Sean Strickland’s back-to-back controversies during his stay in Vegas
Strickland had recently been to Vegas and he had an intense couple of days there. He first met with former American President Donald Trump and was then criticized by the masses for destroying influencer Sneako in a sparring session.
As if that was not enough, he trolled MGK for dressing up like a vampire after meeting him at the Power Slap event and then got challenged by Jake Paul for a fight. Indeed, a crazy couple of days for the ‘Tarzan’.
On being asked what exactly his problem with influencers was, Sean Strickland said,
They are like– I can't explain it until you interact with these people and you're around them, it's like they have this weird god complex and it's just like when I'm around them, I just want to hurt them all and to remind them, you are just a human being, shut the f*** up.Strickland via his YouTube channel
The UFC middleweight fighter recently lost his belt to Dricus du Plessis in a split decision. He is set to get a rematch for the title but Dana White has said that it won’t be happening immediately.
