In the world of professional tennis, fans witness many great rivalries that set the court on fire. One such is the rivalry between the two Americans Frances Tiafoe and Taylor Fritz. These young players have done great in their professional careers and are one of the highest-ranked Americans. They might be rivals but are also great friends and have clearly shown it.

Taylor Fritz made a phenomenal fashion debut by walking down the runway for a French Luxury design house Hermes which is a well-renowned French Brand. “I don’t know how I can answer. I feel like I might get made fun of, to be honest, but we’ll see. I think last year I gave Frances a lot of sh*t for doing the whole Fashion Week thing and I think I’m going to get it back in return this year,” said Fritz in a short interview on Laver Cup TV when the interviewer jokingly asked him if other players might be intimidated to face an international runway model.

Frances Tiafoe had walked the runway along with his girlfriend for Vogue last year. The world number 8 made his debut last year when he modeled for a Hermes collection ‘Walking on the Air’. Fans were elated when they saw a positive reaction from the tennis player.

Rival turned friends Frances Tiafoe and Taylor Fritz

Frances Tiafoe and Taylor Fritz go way back when they have always been in the team world in the Laver’s Cup. Both the Americans have a great record against each other. Taylor leads 6:1 in H2H matches, but together they have done well to win the Laver’s Cup last year. They currently join their team of Ben Shelton, Argentine Francisco Cerundolo, and Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime under the captainship of John Mcenroe. They face Team Europe on the 22nd of September. They are entering the competition as defending champions who look to make it two in a row.

Morgan Riddle, the girlfriend of Taylor, supported her boyfriend before his runway debut and also discussed her interest and dedication towards fashion. “He’s super into fashion just with his schedule he doesn’t really get to do those sorts of things,” said Morgan in an interview for Tatler magazine.
