American tennis star Taylor Fritz‘s girlfriend and renowned TikTok influencer Morgan Riddle was hospitalized in Mexico after food poisoning. Riddle shared a health update on her Instagram on Tuesday. The TikTok influencer revealed that she fell ill after eating Mexican food and had to go to the hospital.

Riddle also shared a picture of the food that caused the illness. Although it was not too serious, Riddle was upset about falling sick due to Mexican food again and again. She vented out her frustration in the caption of the Instagram story.

Taylor Fritz and Morgan Riddle’s stay in Mexico cut short

While Morgan Riddle regretted coming to Mexico, her boyfriend also had a short stay at the Mexican Open. Taylor Fritz had a first-round exit, as he was defeated by Matteo Arnaldi in his first-round match at the ATP 500 tournament. The top-ranked American lost 4-6, 6-4, 3-6 to Arnaldi.

This performance comes after Fritz won the title at the Delray Beach Open. The World No. 10 also made it to the quarterfinals of the 2024 Australian Open. Although Fritz had a terrible head-to-head record against Novak Djokovic, the American challenged the ten-time champion. However, against Arnaldi, Fritz looked clueless.

Now Fritz will be focused on Indian Wells, where he was the winner two years ago. The American had defeated Rafael Nadal to clinch the title. It is to be seen if Fritz can challenge the likes of Djokovic, Nadal, and defending champion Carlos Alcaraz.
