American tennis star Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend Morgan Riddle has become the talk of the town as the social media influencer’s account featured in the list of five must-follow tennis accounts for 2023. Riddle’s account has been kept in the fourth position in the list, ahead of Casper Ruud’s social media account. While many agreed that Riddle’s name deserved to be on the list, a large section of fans disagreed.

Fans were not convinced if Morgan Riddle’s social media account can be counted among tennis accounts as her content is not so relevant to the sport. Many also claimed that Riddle is riding on her boyfriend’s success on the court.

Morgan Riddle talks about her social media content

While tennis fans might not agree about following Morgan Riddle, she is making a difference for her audience. Riddle recently talked about the whole idea of starting her career as a social media influencer. She revealed that she was not happy with her corporate job and because she has to travel to different parts of the world with Fritz, she decided to make content around her lifestyle and it worked.

Riddle also revealed how her increasing popularity among the younger tennis audience helped her land a deal with Wimbledon. Notably, Riddle made some content around what to wear while visiting to the Center Court and it worked.

The year before I had made this video about what people were wearing at Wimbledon that basically consisted of me standing outside the VIP entrance of Centre Court for about 10 hours over the course of three or four days. The Whisper team, which is the production company for Wimbledon, saw the video and reached out because they were looking for fresh content to attract a younger audience.
Morgan Riddle said to C Magazine a few months back.

Things have only improved for Riddle as she has started getting more attention and now her social media account featuring in the list of must-follow accounts speaks volumes. It seems Riddle’s mission to “make tennis cool again” is slowly but steadily reaching its destination.
