Serena Williams‘ former coach Rennae Stubbs recently reacted to Taylor Swift-inspired advertisement to air ahead of Super Bowl LVIII. The advertisement showed a father and daughter holding hands as they enjoyed a Super Bowl game with pure emotions.
The advertisement was sponsored by a major skincare brand, Cetaphil, who are part of the major brand sponsors for the NFL. While fans reacted emotionally to the advertisement, Rennae Stubbs was no exception. For the former Serena Williams coach, the impact of the Taylor Swift-inspired advert was beyond tennis, connecting people from various walks of life to the most loved sport in America.

The six-time major title winner took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to convey her honest opinion after viewing the advisement:
Ok, I’m not crying! You are!
Taylor Swift has become an influential figure in the NFL since she began dating Travis Kelce, an American football tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, in September 2023. The Super Bowl games which attract millions of audience will take place on the 11th of February.
Rennae Stubbs comes to Jannik Sinner’s defense
Stubbs has rushed to the defense of Jannik Sinner after the Italian faced backlash for meeting with the Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni following his Australian Open triumph. Sinner rallied from behind to defeat Daniil Medvedev to win his first major title in Melbourne.
The following day, he was invited by the Prime Minister of Italy, which he obliged. The Prime Minister, who assumed office in 2022, congratulated him for his victory, stating that the country was proud of him and the duo taking pictures together.

Some tennis fans were disappointed with the Italian gesture with the Prime Minister. Raising her controversial political positions is a good reason Sinner should have ignored her. The Prime Minister has been under fire for her alleged far-right politics.
However, Rennae Stubbs didn’t see it that way, as she believes that Jannik Sinner is a nice athlete and obedient to the authorities of his nationality.
You will not meet a nicer guy than Jannik Sinner! Whatever your politics or his, this guy is a guy all Italians should be proud of.Stubbs on X
Jannik Sinner didn’t care less to reply to critics rather, he heads to the Rotterdam Open (ABN AMRO) as the top seed and favorite to win the title after an excellent performance at the Australian Open. The Italian will face Dutch Botic van de Zandschulp in Round 32.
