Whereas 2021 was a year that was career-defining for Novak Djokovic when he won the first 3 grand slams of the year and was aiming for his Calendar Grand Slam by winning the US Open.

Recently tweets from the Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal fan camps rekindled the debate again. Now that Rafael Nadal has retired from the rest of 2023, Djokovic fans believe the Serb will go up to at least 3 more Grand Slam titles.

Rafael Nadal’s fans stressed the point that Nadal became the greatest ever when he was the first to get to the 21st Grand Slam title win at the 2022 Australian Open and that had nothing to do with the fact that Djokovic was deported.
