The advent of pickleball dates back to 1965. It was created by former US Congressman Joel Pritchard and his two friends. It has not gained as much popularity as tennis has over the years. However, with time, the sport is developing in various parts of the world, especially the USA.
This growth and its similarity to tennis have raised some bizarre questions about the existence of the sport along with that of tennis.

The tennis influencer Rachel Stuhlmann has remarked her opinion on the growth of pickleball in the US. Recently, Stuhlmann shared a post on her Instagram handle with a caption.
No, it’s not “taking over tennis.” That’s a very dramatic take lol. There’s room for both sports to thrive. And I don’t mind the sound. In the caption, she wrote
That’s not all; as per the popular personality herself, she loves the fact that the sport provides another chance for former professional tennis players to shine on the court. Stuhlmann has been dubbed one of the leading tennis influencers in the world. Besides tennis, she has also tried her skills in pickleball recently. Thus giving her the name ‘pickleball girl‘.
For the uninitiated, Pickleball as a sport has seen steady growth in recent years. In 2018, the US Pickleball National Championships were held in the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.
Various former tennis players have tried their hands in the sport of Pickleball
Former tennis players such as Jack Sack and Eugenie Bouchard have played a role in the development of the sport.

Moreover, Andre Agassi and John McEnroe have also tried their hands at the sport. The couple Agassi and Steffi Graf were involved in a pickleball match in the Pickleball Slam 2.
