A lot of discussions in the tennis community has been over Novak Djokovic‘s US Open participation of late. Djokovic, given his vaccination status, isn’t allowed to enter the USA as things stand due to the US government’s strict vaccination mandate. This means that he is directly banned from this year’s US Open despite decreasing Covid cases in the USA.
Earlier this year, Djokovic was deported from Australia for the very same reason after a 10-day tussle with the Australian government and the judiciary. He also missed the Golden Swing and is believed to miss the entire North-American hard court swing. This is purely because of the US government’s ruling and this ruling has received a lot of backlash too.
Fans, contemporary players, politicians, and many celebrities have openly called out President Joe Biden for his stubborn policies and have raised some obvious questions regarding the vaccination mandate. And to make things worse for him, President Biden tested positive for Covid on Thursday.
Biden has had 4 jabs of the Covid vaccine and despite that, has tested positive for Covid while Djokovic, who is currently unvaccinated, won one of the biggest title of year- Wimbledon, without getting infected or put anyone else under risk.

Biden, who is stopping Djokovic from entering the USA due to hi vaccination status, is positive for Covid despite getting the Covid vaccine 4 times. Fans called out this hypocrisy and mocked the President for the same.
