Renowned TV presenter, Roberto Leal recently appeared as a guest on a Spanish show called El Partidazo de COPE where he talked about being an avid follower of Spaniard Rafael Nadal, Leal also expressed his wish of meeting Nadal one day and how he wished the Spaniard keeps playing for more years to come.

Leal while on the show said, “I am dying to meet the tennis player. I’ve been told so many times that you’re one of those people that everyone likes. That’s what I read about Nadal and Iniesta, so I say, the three of us are going to meet one day and give each other a hug. Rafa, Andres, if you’re listening to this, you already know, send a message to COPE and we’ll put you in touch.”

“I think Rafa is persevering, he’s number one, and I think he’s a pretty smart guy, who knows how far he can go. I think we’re going to have Rafa for a long time, hopefully, that’s the case,” Leal added further.

Nadal is currently gearing up to play at the final major of the season in the form of the US Open, the Spaniard will be looking to add yet another Grand Slam to his collection and maintain the lead over Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer.
