After Seyboth Wild’s victory in the French Open first round, a journalist questioned him about Thayane Lima’s charges against him. The journalist proceeded to talk about if any sort of punishment is still due against the player. Seyboth Wild replied, “I don’t think it’s a subject we should talk about right here. I don’t think it’s a question you should be asking anybody. I don’t think it comes to you to decide whether it’s a place to be spoken of or not. You can write whatever you want.”
