Novak Djokovic, the 21-time Grand Slam champion has been playing on totally a different level of tennis with his flawless performances since his return to the Tour after receiving a ban during the North American swing for which he couldn’t play due to his unvaccinated status. As soon as he came back on the Tour with his participation at the Tel Aviv, he went on to clinch his 89th ATP title defeating Marin Cilic in straight sets where he didn’t lose a single set during the tournament.
Djokovic won his second consecutive title at the 2022 Astana Open defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas in the finals in straight sets 6-3,6-4. He has been fantastic with his performances and has dropped only one set throughout the tournament which came in the semi-finals only as he continues his 9-match winning streak.
The former world number one from Serbia added another feather to his name as he clinched his 90th ATP title at the Astana Open to become the fifth player in the Open era to win 90 or more titles. Djokovic has won three ATP titles this year and hasn’t lost a match since his victory at Wimbledon where he clinched his 21st Grand Slam title.

Novak Djokovic has had a tough start to the year due to his vaccination status due to which he missed participating in two Grand Slam tournaments of the year and even couldn’t defend his title at the Australian Open and as well at the French Open. Despite all hurdles, he remained undefeated at the All England Club where he clinched his 7th Wimbledon title and 4th title in a row defeating Nick Kyrgios.
Djokovic won his 90th ATP title defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets at the Astana Open and continued his winning streak by dropping a single set till now since his victory at Wimbledon left people on social media elated and delighted. People praised the Serbian legend and appreciated him for his comeback and for proving himself to be the true champion despite hurdles and difficulties.
