Travis Scott has taken his beef with former American tennis superstar John McEnroe to a whole other level as the renowned rapper was seen vandalizing McEnroe’s Hall of Fame plaque in a recently viral video. After a verbal spat between the two individuals during a Zoom call about an upcoming Nike project, McEnroe took a dig at Scott while roaming the streets.

Now, Scott seems to have replied to McEnroe by vandalizing his Hall of Fame plaque. The American rapper is seen spray painting all over the plaque. Scott also looks around multiple times indicating that he does not want anyone to see him doing the notorious act.

How real is the fued between Travis Scott and John McEnroe?

This new beef in the town between John McEnroe and Travis Scott looks more like a marketing strategy from Nike which is trying to grab eyeballs before it drops it latest collection of sneakers.

Reporteldy, Nike is planning to drop their new collection of sneakers, Cactus Jack x Nike Attack in the coming week. The sneaker is being projected as a fusion of the newly-launched sneakers Attack which are in line with ‘80s tennis shoes and Travis Scott own style.

As Travis Scott performed in May wearing a pair adorned with his signature reverse Swoosh design, speculations became rife that a new collection is about to be launched.Now, as the launch date nears (December 19 is the expected date), the company has used two of its big faces to create the hype around the new collection, but in a different way.

It is just a matter of time that the two celebrities clear the air and reveal that it was a marketing strategy to build the anticipation for the new collection. If not for this, the beef between McEnroe and Scott does not make sense.
