Novak Djokovic, who has been a true maestro on the courts of Wimbledon, is finally feeling the heat against his young opponent in the final. With the golden trophy at stake, Djokovic was expected to wrap up the tie after his dominance in the first set, but the way the young Spaniard has responded back from the second set, it is clear that Novak will be having a long night.
After winning the second set, Carlos Alcaraz was looking like a player who has been with her for the last 10–15 years, putting more and more pressure on the Serb. Alcaraz and Djokovic fought for the 4th game of the 3rd set for like 26 minutes, putting on a blast of a show for the fans around the stadium.
But after that, Novak was really dejected with himself and he had to call off for a toilet break.
Those who know Novak know that it is a strategy Novak opts for when the opponent is dominating him, and has also worked for him in the past. He tries to break the momentum and the focus by using as much time as possible, and when he returns, he always receives heavy bashing and booing for that. The same incident happened yet again, as fans all around the stadium weren’t happy with this behavior, and he also received criticism all over social media.
How has this tactic helped Djokovic in the past?

This breaking technique of Djokovic during matches has really worked wonders for the Serbian, irritating the opponent and distracting their mindset by spending some extra minutes in the toilet.
Sharing a wide spectrum of reactions online, here’s what fans have to say:
Fans have always criticized him for this tactic, but he has never really broken a rule, and even the match umpire cannot do anything about it and just waits for him to come back on the court when he feels ready.
