The match was intense from the start, when Aliassime, a 21-year-old Canadian won the first set and wowed the crowd with his abilities and tactics against the king of clay. As a result, the Spaniard fought back, winning the following two sets before succumbing to the Canadian in the fourth. Aliassime, on the other hand, struck some of the finest shots of the match during the last set. In particular, he produced a stunning drop shot in the fourth game of the last set, which left the audience stunned and enthralled by what had just occurred.
