World number 1, Medvedev has started off his US Open campaign with a bang, the Russian professional defeated American professional Stefan Kozlov in the first round, Arthur Rinderknech in the second round, and Wu Yibing in the third round. Medvedev has been showing off excellent performances as he has beaten all of his opponents in straight sets as he has made his way into the round of 16 fixture of the US Open.

The Russian professional would be looking to continue his performances as he faces a really tough battle in Kyrgios who is in red hot form right now.

Kyrgios has enjoyed a successful 2022, the Australian managed to reach the finals of Wimbledon 2022 but he was defeated by Novak Djokovic.
