Olympic Gold-medalist and 7-time Grand Slam singles champion Venus Williams along with her sister Serena Williams ruled the world of tennis both in singles and doubles format in which they played together. Apart from her skills and long hours of work in improving the game, Venus believes that there’s one more thing that played a crucial role in her career being successful. Taking to her YouTube channel, Williams said that she owed her success to her belief in Jehovah’s Witness while answering a question from a fan.
Replying to a question on how she juggled being a Christian, a Jehovah’s Witness, and famous, Venus replied,“Your life is about what you believe in. For me my beliefs come first that guides me in my life. Help me in making right decision. And when I get off to that then little more challenging. So it’s easy when you believe in something. It makes you happy and you see a positive effect in your life.”
Talking about how her beliefs helped bring herself back on track, Venus added, “And for me as Christian Jehovah Witness has had huge positive effect and honestly I credit it for all my success. Everybody has moments where I am not perfect for sure, I make mistake. But then I get right back up and get started again after that mistake.”
