Former World No. 1 Venus Williams continues to use her good name to help society. The 43-year-old is currently inactive on the Tour due to fitness concerns and also missed the 2024 Australian Open due to it.

Her recent brand deal is another testament to her philanthropic approach over the years. She has signed a brand new deal with Bombas, a clean clothing brand. Bombas has earned its reputation for its high-quality clothes along with its act of charity.

The sports socks boast a design that will keep the feet cool, dry, and protected from blisters. The added benefit of it being useful across sports makes it more accessible. Williams took to her Twitter account to announce the collaboration and tagged the organizations that would also benefit from it.

The Olympian tagged John McEnroe‘s ‘JMTP’ and the girl child empowerment organization ‘Play Like a Girl’, indicating helping the two institutions through her deal with Bombas. For every sock purchased from her collection, a pair will be donated to these two groups.

Williams’ signature motto ‘Wish You Well‘ has also been stitched in every pair of socks produced within the collection. She came up with the line as a reminder to her fans and people around to let go of things that don’t deserve you while always believing in yourself.

Bombas has been growing exponentially in recent years. Their annual sales are reported at more than USD 100 Million. As a result, their estimated net worth has gone up to USD 550 Million.

With their rising popularity and combining it with Venus’ global stardom, they can surely make a huge difference. The details of their deal with the tennis pro is not yet made public.
