Victoria Azarenka expressed her discontent with the differentiation in treatment towards men’s and women’s tennis. The former World No.1 took to Twitter to point out how Carlos Alcaraz received a better celebration as compared to Aryna Sablenka.

Aryna Sablenka celebrated her 25th birthday on the tour with a win in the semi-final of the Madrid Open. The organizers of the event presented her with a celebratory cake for her dual accomplishments. While sharing the same birthday with Sablenka, Alcaraz was also lauded, but on the court with a magnanimous cake presentation. This caught the attention of a fellow Belarussian, Azarenka.
