As much as he is known for his calm demeanor on the court, tennis great Novak Djokovic has had his share of whacky moments. With the kind of skills he possesses, it is pretty rare to witness his aggressive side.
However, when he seems clueless, he does get angry very quickly. In his most recent match at the Wimbledon Championships against Carlos Alcaraz, he was seen getting angry a few times. Surprisingly, a video is going viral on Instagram where, under pressure, Novak Djokovic can be seen shouting at the ball kid.
For context, Djokovic was given a warning for being very slow during his serve and violating the clock. So maybe he wanted to speed it up and was scared that another violation would make him lose a serve. That’s not all; the tennis professional was also seen smashing the racquet onto the net post after he conceded a crucial break to the Spaniard. As expected, fans were quite shocked to see Novak’s aggressive side, eliciting a plethora of reactions online.
Is it the end for Novak Djokovic?

Djokovic is still one of the best on the tour with his high level of quality tennis. However, his recent loss to Carlos Alcaraz at the 2023 Wimbledon Championships has made people understand that the Serb is not the only dominant player, as there is a lot of competition growing around him. He can, though, brush off all these claims if he comes up with a great run at Flushing Meadows in the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year.
With that being said, it will be interesting to see how many tournaments he takes part in while managing his workload. Will he play in Cincinnati and Canada? Also, how will he face Alcaraz the next time they meet? Will there be nerves floating all over? Only time will tell.
However, for now, Djokovic is supremely fit for his age and will try to use that asset of his game to his best advantage.
