Nick Kyrgios cruised his first ever singles final at the 2022 Wimbledon Championship after receiving a walkover from Rafael Nadal but got defeated by the 21-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic. Continuing his great form, the Aussie has already made five semi-final appearances in the past six events and booked his second consecutive final of the season. Kyrgios defeated Reilly Opelka in their Round of 16, then saved five match points in an epic quarter-final win over Frances Tiafoe, and then defeated Ymer in the semi-finals in straight sets.
In his run to the finals, Kyrgios has dropped only one set while making fewer mistakes and has managed to hit 84 aces in the tournament. He will be looking to win his first ATP Tour victory since 2019 at the same event as he has made his return to the Citi Open after three years.
Yoshihito Nishioka is experiencing the best times of his career as he managed to defeat another seeded player in his run to book his place in the finals. He defeated Andrey Rublev in the semi-finals in straight sets 6-3,6-4 and played his best level of tennis in the match of one hour. He registered stellar wins against some of the best players in tennis starting with his win against Jenson Brooksby in the first round, Alex de Minaur in the Round of 32, Karen Khachanov in the Round of 16, and Dan Evans in the quarter-finals. He will be pretty confident of his game after his clinical performance and will be looking ahead to lock horns with another top-seed player.

Nishioka loves to wear his opponents down and will dig in to keep frustrating the Australian player time and again.
