Novak Djokovic, the 35-year-old Serbian professional is widely regarded as one of the greatest tennis players of all time. With 22 Grand Slam titles to his name, the Serb has been proving his dominance to the tennis world year in and year out. Djokovic once again proved his haters wrong by winning the 2023 Australian Open after defeating Stefano Tsitsipas in the final of the tournament.
Djokovic faced Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas in the penultimate match of the tournament. This was not going to be an easy task for the Serb but to no surprise, Djokovic made quick work of Tsitsipas as he beat the Greek professional in straight sets to clinch this year’s Australian Open title.
After his victory, Novak Djokovic climbed over to his coach’s box to celebrate the 22nd Grand Slam of his career. The Serb got visibly emotional whilst hugging his mother and had a breakdown while he was up there. Djokovic even at the age of 35 continues to dominate the tennis world with his sensational performances.
