Novak Djokovic, the 35-year-old Serbian professional is undoubtedly one of the greatest tennis players of all time. With 21 Grand Slam titles to his name, Djokovic has long cemented his position as an all-time great of the sport. The Serbian professional is one of the frontrunners for the Australian Open title and his performances show his confidence.

The Serb had a cracker of a second-round encounter at this year’s Australian Open. The Serb faced Enzo Couacard at the tournament and the Frenchman really gave him a run for his money. The highlight of the match, however, was Djokovic’s injury scare toward the end of the second set.

Novak Djokovic will now be going up against Grigor Dimitrov in the third round of the Australian Open. The Serb’s fans are seen waiting for Djokovic outside the stadium to catch a glimpse of their favorite player in action.

Novak Djokovic to face Grigor Dimitrov at the Australian Open

After his injury scare in the second round of the Australian Open, Novak Djokovic continued playing and managed to defeat Enzo Couacard and make his way into the third round of the tournament. The Serbian professional proved once again why he is one of the most elite players in the world as he played through a possible injury and still got the win.

Djokovic was seen practicing with a strapping on his leg and fans fear and pray that the Serbian is not injured. A similar incident happened back at the 2021 Australian Open where Djokovic suffered an abdominal tear but still managed to go all the way and win the title.

In his third-round fixture, Djokovic will be going up against Grigor Dimitrov. Dimitrov will not be an easy opponent for the Serb and the possible injury could make matters worse for him.
