Alexander Bublik, the 25-year-old, Russian-Kazakhstani player defeated Andy Murray yesterday in the quarter-finals of the Hall of Fame Championships by 7-5, 6-4. The win saw him book his place in the semi-finals of the Hall of Fame Open, the Kazakh recorded a total of 12 aces after overpowering Murray in yesterday’s game.

However, the highlight of the match was the Kazakh’s rant aimed at a line judge after a foot fault was called on his serve midway in the second set, the score was 40-30 in the sixth game and Bublik was on game point to level the set 3-3. Bublik went on a rant challenging the foul’s relevancy and did not stop even with the chair umpire interrupting.

Alexander Bublik is scheduled to face 29-year-old Australian Jason Kubler in the semi-finals of the Hall of Fame Open, this will be the Kazakh’s first semi-final appearance in this year since the Open Sud de France in January, Bublik’s rant video went viral on Twitter and has been viewed by over 25000 people in a very short amount of time.

In the video, Bublik is found saying “Excuse me, he’s telling me that I made a foot fault with the right leg. How can that possibly be? Do you want me to serve like this? Are you a tennis player? How can it possibly be, if you tell me it is the left leg, I am totally fine with it, but how can it possibly be that I serve like this.
