Aryna Sabalenka finished as the runner-up at the Stuttgart Open 2023, as she was defeated in the finals by Iga Swiatek in straight sets. The Belarusian failed to put up a fight against the clay-court specialist, who set the tone right from the onset. She did manage to raise her level in the second set, however, Iga Swiatek’s class just proved too much for her on Sunday.

Recently, she was involved in another funny incident, where she attempted to hit the Porsche with her runner-up trophy.

Aryna Sabalenka will now compete at the Madrid Open 2023, where she is seeded second. She was defeated in the first round of the Madrid Open last year by Amanda Anisimova in three sets. The 2023 Australian Open champion will look to have a much deeper run in the tournament this time around.
