Dayana Yastremska is up against China’s Qinwen Zheng in the semi-finals of the Australian Open. The Ukrainian was seen struggling with stomach issues during the first set of the match. She immediately called for a medical timeout and asked her trainer for help. Any sort of muscular problem, which is unlikely will be a great disadvantage to the 23-year-old in this all-pressure match.

However, after taking some treatment and painkillers Dayana Yastremksa returned to the court. The continuous matches in the Grand Slam and the temperature of Melbourne can be a big reason for this. The set currently stands at 4-6 to Qinwen Zheng. With this, the Chinese clinched the first set over the Ukrainian and the advantage of the match.

Both Yastremska and Zheng have never reached the finals of any Grand Slam. Thus, they will be willing to give it their all for their ticket to the finals. However, with physical discomfort to the Ukrainian, Zheng surely will have an advantage going deep into the match.
